It was announced recently that Great Places Housing Group has lead the procurement of a new construction and professional services framework, Innovation Chain North West (ICNW), with an aim of creating £500 million of construction work over the next four years.
The ICNW builds upon the success of the company's previous framework, which delivered 4,000 new homes with a construction value of over £390 million.
Building robust supply chains will be crucial to the success of this venture. As such, new opportunities are likely to arise for businesses based both in the area and further afield. The opportunities will require a depth of bidding knowledge to secure maximum contract share.
