Earlier this week we discussed the use of ePortals within the tender process and how these may or may not be favourable to the smaller business. We have literally just been reading an article about the focus on improving how public finds are spent. Interestingly, this article is very pro ePortals and suggests that they will make the tender process much easier and much more accessible for SMEs. This could genuinely be a valid point as we often speak with clients who comment on the the tiresome exercise of reading through reams and teams of paperwork connected to a tender. Let's hope that the ePortals are indeed a supplier's friend!
