Established public convenience client in tender win!

One of our established public convenience clients has successfully been chosen to provide maintenance and management services of public convenience facilities for a London Borough Local Authority. This success is thanks to the guidance and expertise of Thornton & Lowe’s in-house team of bid writing professionals, which allowed our client to score an impressive 89% This five-year contract, with the option to extend for a further two years, will see our client deliver cleaning, maintenance and coin collection services for five of the London Borough’s street side public conveniences. There will also be the option for a further two public toilets to be added during the contract period. Due to the nature of the contract, it was essential that our client evidenced their rigorous approach to Health and Safety. For example, detailing the equipment and personal protective equipment our client’s operatives are provided to carry out the required services. Our client also had to evidence their waste management and quality control practices. This was demonstrated through the use of policies, case studies and accreditations, such as their waste management plan and IS0 9001 accreditation.
