One of our long standing civil engineering and maintenance clients has successfully been chosen to
provide engineering works for Warwick District Council, thanks to the support of Thornton & Lowe’s
in-house team of tender professionals.
This two-year contract, with the option to extend for a further three years, will see our client deliver
minor engineering works to Warwick District Council owned properties, sites and open spaces. The
estimated value of the contract is £300,000 per annum.
Providing maintenance and repair works is a challenging area, so our client had to evidence their
rigorous approach to Health and Safety and to minimising disruption for the public. Furthermore,
our client had to evidence their accreditations, including Road and Streetworks Act accreditation, to
add weight to their submission.
Our in-house team of tender writing professionals developed case studies to demonstrate our
client’s proven experience and success in delivering the required works, as well as their strong
relationship with the council.
