A couple of days ago we commented on the growth of the UK construction sector. We have just read a similar article, this time about the growth of the manufacturing sector. Again - positive stories in the media about our economy! Fantastic stuff for the optimists, for businesses and for the whole economy. For the full article, click here. The article comments on how the August figures were the highest for 2½ years! It does go on to refer to the actual costs of raw materials etc also increasing. So - where the sector may be expanding, it is always worth being mindful of what is happening in the background. Still - it's great to see growth in any sector and we hope it continues.
