One of our maritime security clients has beaten off competition and has been successfully chosen to provide security risk management services for a maritime security contractor. This success is thanks to the support and expertise of Thornton & Lowe’s in-house team of tender professionals.
The contract is initially for a fixed term of one year, with the option to be extended for a further five years. Our client will deliver the security risk management component of the contract, as the technical partner to a maritime security contractor.
Maritime security are working with the Swedish Government and Immigration Authorities to establish a series of flotel accommodation to house new migrants and refugees entering Sweden. Our client will provide expert security services to the flotel accommodation, as well as the immediate vicinity within the port in which the flotel accommodation is docked.
Providing maritime security and vessel protection services is a challenging area, so our client had to evidence their rigorous approach to contract delivery. They also had to detail the vast amount of accreditations they hold such as Quality Management, Health and Safety and Security Risk Management.
