One of our new NHS clients has been chosen to provide integrated healthcare services for a prison in their local area, thanks to the support of Thornton & Lowe’s in-house team of tender professionals.
This five-year contract, with the option to extend for a further two years, will see the Trust working at the Category C male-only prison, making sure the inmates have access to high quality and professional healthcare services.
Tenders in the judiciary/prison sector are very sensitive and competitive, with clients needing to make sure there is a robust approach to the health and safety of both inmates and staff alike. This had to be evidenced heavily through the use of policies, procedures and case studies, which supported the submission.
