Thornton & Lowe have recently launched online Bid Writing training.
As an SME, we recognise that it may be very difficult for those working in smaller businesses to find the time to leave the office for more than a few hours per day. This may prove to be a barrier to some organisations acquiring the training they need to grow their business and improve success rates. As a result, we are now offering an easily accessible online bid writing training course, which clients can dip in to as and when they have the opportunity. We understand that time is precious, but that developing and improving a business is equally as important. Our focus is to allow companies to feel empowered to improve their approach to working with local authorities. The course is full of tips, tools, guidance, and suggestions, reminding bidders of three key points –- Every bid is unique
- Every bid requires win themes
- Every bid needs to be written persuasively
Developed by our in-house Bid Writing experts
Designed and developed by Charles Grosstephan, Bid Training and Consultancy Manager at Thornton & Lowe, the online course is already being undertaken. Notonly have new clients accessed the course, but we have also seen clients who have previously attended our workshops use the online course as a refresher. This demonstrates the need for such an option for those looking to access convenient and cost-effective assistance. Charles said: “I speak with hundreds of people every year about bidding and no one finds it an enjoyable experience. We want to provide a mechanism to help businesses grow. The online training seemed an obvious way of doing exactly this and it’s great that people are already taking advantage of it” Focussing purely on how to write a successful bid, the course is about the actual writing rather than any other part of the bid process. The course consists of a series of short videos, totaling approximately 45 minutes, which may be watched one by one or all in one viewing, as time permits. As with all our training, its designed to be open to those with all levels of experience. The course can be accessed via our website here, or by contacting our training team on 01204 238046 or training@thorntonandlowe.com/
