PQQs and policies go in hand in hand. At Thornton & Lowe, we've worked on countless tender documents, and a very common question asked is related to documented policies, such as quality, health and safety, and environmental management. If you do not already have policies in place, this is something you may wish to really consider reviewing. PQQ outcomes are influenced by whether policies are in place or not, or whether there is a substantial alternative in place.
It is worth considering the above with an earlier blog regarding the aims and objectives of local authorities, using environmental management as an example. Local authorities want to see "added value" in your PQQs and ITTs, so if you can clearly evidence that you have an environmental management policy in place, you are more likely to score higher than your competitor who does not.
We have supported many clients with developing policies for their organisation. If you would like to discuss how we can help you, please give us a call - 0845 862 0154
