GB-London: The Royal Parks - Health & Safety Consultancy Contract

The Royal Parks is seeking a Health and Safety consultancy to provide advice on all aspects of H&S management across our estate, supporting the small in-house team. Under the Contract, the consultant will receive requests/instructions for TRP as and when a requirement arises. Areas of advice may include but are not limited to: - Specialist advice on event safety; - Assessing, auditing and assuring contractors' H&S management (covering areas such as FM, Landscape Maintenance, construction, major events, catering, volunteers etc); - Support for undertaking and reviewing Fire Risk Assessments and providing competent fire safety advice; - Undertaking Display Screen Equipment assessments; - CDM management services and advice; - Client support in relation to accident and incident investigations including liaising with enforcement bodies; - Advising on road risk management; - External audit and assurance of TRP's H&S management systems; - Advice on managing other areas such as asbestos management, LOLER, legionella/water safety (L8), confined space work; - Food Safety Advice & Auditing services to provide assurance to the client that concessionaires and service providers are managing their provision effectively. Community based support programmes of Mental Health and Wellbeing Mental Health First Aid

Brent Council is looking for suitably qualified Mental Health First Aid England suppliers for the delivery of a programme of Youth Mental Health First Aid training to young people and professionals in Brent, over 6 to 7 months from 5th September 2022 to 31st March 2023. This forms part of the Council's programme of recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic, and funding has been allocated as part of a wider Council recovery initiative to support community-based programmes of mental health and wellbeing support.The proposed project(s) will take place over 6 to 7 months from 5th September 2022 to 31st March 2023. Police force staff are also frequently required to administer first aid in extreme and challenging environments.It is vitally important that the first aid training provider ensures all police officers and staff are competent and confident in their roles and abilities, when providing medical support and care, and are able to robustly defend both their decisions and any interventions.

Suicide First Aid (SFA) Training Programme in Southwark

The Public Health Team at Southwark Council are seeking quotes for a provider to deliver a Borough wide Suicide First Aid training programme.We expect the provider to deliver 900 Full SFA training places and 500 SFA Lite training places to front line staff working in Southwark over the course of the five year contract, with a target completion date of two years.This is a new provision and is now required because Southwark’s Preventing Suicides Strategy 2023-2028 lists the roll-out of Suicide Prevention Training to identified target groups as one of it's key actions.We aim to train a range of front line staff including those working in:• Voluntary community sector organisations who support higher risk residents• The social housing sector• The criminal justice sector• Teams who support those in difficult economic circumstancesThe training will ensure more people at risk of suicide are identified and given the support they need.
