Thornton & Lowe To Sponsor Annual Butterfly Ball In Aid Of Children’s Hospices Across Scotland

Aug 21, 2019

Thornton & Lowe are incredibly proud to announce their sponsorship of the third annual Butterfly Ball, in aid of Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS). Scheduled for Saturday 2nd May 2020 at the Fairmont Hotel in St Andrew’s, this prestigious event has previously raised over £12,000 for this vital charity; the only one providing hospice and respite care for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families in Scotland. At present, CHAS is only able to help around a third of the 15,000 children and families who need them, through Rachel House in Kinross and Robin House in Balloch, as well as support at home or in hospital. This glittering black tie event will be the biggest and best yet, with incredible entertainment, delicious food and excellent company making the Butterfly Ball an evening to remember. Director Tom Anderson takes a special interest in the work of this incredible charity, and has always been delighted to work alongside the fantastic team at CHAS to raise as much money as possible to help to fund their life changing work. Speaking of Thornton & Lowe’s engagement with the Butterfly Ball, Tom said “We support many charities throughout the UK and CHAS is one which Thornton & Lowe takes that little bit of extra interest in. It’s a charity not just for those children requiring specialised medical and support services but equally as important, it’s a charity which understands the wider needs of the family unit. As a national company, much of our work and that of our clients is conducted in those communities where Children's Hospices Across Scotland operate; we therefore feel it’s only right to support them wherever and whenever we can.” For any information on corporate packages, sponsorship or tickets, please don’t hesitate to contact Lyndsey via email at lyndsey@thorntonandlowe.com/ or call our Scotland office on 01334 208312.
